Hemorrhoids
In the anal Canal, there are piles of tissue that help to seal the anal Canal so that are end liquids and solids stay inside the rectal vault When the anal sphincter is contracted. These piles of tissue are called the hemorrhoids. They are broken down into the internal and external hemorrhoids.
internal hemorrhoids are above the dentate line, the junction between the mucosal lining of the rectum and the epidermal lining of the anus. These hemorrhoids have no sensation of pain. They are connected via a small network of venules with the external hemorrhoids.
External hemorrhoids are in the hemorrhoids we see on the outside that are covered with skin. These hemorrhoids can be irritating and painful.
Symptoms
External hemorrhoids

Treatment
The management of the Hemorrhoid depends on which type is causing you problems. Internal hemorrhoids often can be banded in the office without any form of sedation. this is because the lining of the rectum has no pain nerve endings. Banding of the internal hemorrhoids often successful at shrinking problematic external hemorrhoids Because the hemorrhoids communicate with small venules. the banding can be done repeated until the hemorrhoids are fully managed.
Management of external hemorrhoids usually require surgery. The recovery from the surgery is usually painful. Attempts to manage hemorrhoids conservatively are tried first before embarking on external removal of hemorrhoids.
