Diverticulitis
diverticulosis is the presence of little outpouching from the Lumen of the colon. These couches that usually created when there is increased intraluminal pressure from the stool. That usually happens when patients have chronic constipation. oftentimes, our Western diet contributes to intraluminal pressure elevation as we do not tend to eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. When the out couching occur, they don't cause any problems just by being there. It is possible that the pouches can rupture and when that happens, an infection starts inside the belly. This is called diverticulitis.
Symptoms

You may experience fevers or chills depending on how bad the infection is. Sometimes all you feel is pain. Oftentimes a flu like symptoms accompany this infection.
Treatment
